This winter seems to have been particularly cold and windy, although we are still really short of our average rainfall.
The old boys Zeke, Bolt and Freckles are all quite happy spending all day curled up in the house out of the cold, but Indi needs a ton more exercise morning and night, along with his sheep and duck herding and daily obedience training. I think I have put more time and energy into training Indi than I have any other dog, might be something to do with the ’empty-nest’ things now that our kids are grown up and busy with their own lives.
At least Indi gets me out in the fresh air when I would rather be warm and cozy inside the house with a hot coffee!
