I started researching everything I could about Pygmy Goats and goat care well before we bought our First Pygmy Goats home.

Goats, like horses, dogs and the other livestock we have raised are a lifetime learning exercise,even after fifty + years with horses and dogs there is always something new to learn and I have no reason to believe that goats will be any different.
I’m not a vet, nor do I consider myself a goat expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I have done an intense amount of research on raising goats for many, many years before we even got ours and we do have 15+ years experience raising other ruminants which has made the transition to Pygmy Goats so much easier.
As caretakers of these precious little Pygmy Goats – and more importantly as breeders who will be selling some of our kids in the future, we believe it is our responsibility to learn as much as we can and to be able to pass that knowledge on to the future caretakers of the Pygmy Goat kids that we are responsible for bringing into the world.
