Tessa has been in bootcamp since Christmas to help keep her weight down after she ballooned over the holidays after having a few weeks off. The boys were having a few days break, so Miss B decided to pop Tessa over a few jumps.
Now Tessa is 18 years old, I started her under saddle myself as a 10 year old ex-broodmare, and apart from popping over the odd small log in the bush, she has never done any jumping.
LOL and it shows. She is a drama queen and has the absolute worst style of jump of any horse I know, but she actually really enjoyed it, so we might have to do a bit more in the future. Her shoulder injury probably won’t allow her to jump very high, plus of course, she jumps like an elephant, but I am fine with jumping low heights 🙂
