It is certainly a magical experience to be able to walk outside on my front verandah and be able to witness the spectacular Aurora Australia, its certainly one more thing to add to the list of long reasons why I love living on a farm.
I remember as a kid in school being told that the aurora is never seen from Australia anywhere but Tasmania, I am very pleased that my school teachers were wrong!
