Introducing our first Pygmy Buck

After a massive week of fencing and shelter building in the heat and dust, we finally collected Eagleburra Pygmy Goat Stud’s first buck, the stunning Plumbago Presley (95.31%).

At only 8 months of age, he is already a very impressive looking boy, and if he grows up to be anything like his stunning parents Trinity Kingston (Full Blood) and Trinity Prestine (90.63%), then he is going to be an absolutely gorgeous, true to type adult who we know is going to produce some amazing babies in the future.

Presley has settled in at Eagleburra like he has lived here all his life 🙂 Not only does he have the looks, he also has a beautiful personality and temperament – two things that are just as important in our opinion as conformation and type.

He is already learning to walk on the lead and will one day strut his stuff in the show ring (not sure when the next show will be held here in WA, but the very first ever NPGAA Pygmy Goat Show in WA was held on the 13th April at the Kalamunda Agricultural Show).

Since opening the Three Red Ponies photography studio on our farm, I don’t do horse event photography anymore, but I will definitely make exceptions for Pygmy Goat Shows (I might do a blog post with some of my favourites from the Kalamunda Show).
