It always amazes me how different the winter coats are for each of our horses. Mia being the pony always grows a massive fur coat, making her look like a cuddly teddy bear.
Tessa’s winter coat is fairly thin as is Flames, but they both still sweat up terribly when they get worked.
Looking around the property the paddocks are still dry and barren with only a little bit of green poking up here and there. Fingers crossed we get decent rains this winter.
